OUR AWARDS
Black Excellence Award (2021)
On April 16, 2021 our organization was recognized by the Progressive NAACP and Temple's Black Law Students Association. The ceremony was held virtually on Zoom. Among the awardees were Bloody Bitches and Babel Poetry Collective.


Community Development Award (2019)
On February 24, 2019 our organization was recognized by the National Association of Black Accountants, Temple University Chapter and Temple's Black Law Students Association. The ceremony was held at the Center for Architecture & Design in Center City, Philadelphia. . Among the awardees was Malcolm Kenyatta, PA State Representative for the 181st District, and the Lambda Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity, Inc.
On January 14, 2019 our organization was granted a $1,000.00 grant by Health Partners Foundation. The reward was granted to support our Sadie Tanner Mosell Alexander Social Justice Essay Contest during Women's History Month.
Community Grant (2019)


Man of Vision Awards (2017)
On September 8, 2017 our founder and executive director was awarded the Man of Vision Award by Men of Vision Non-Profit. The ceremony was held at the International House at University of Pennsylvania. Among the awardees was Leonard Chester, Founder of The Overcame Foundation and a recent Temple University graduate.
Black Excellence Gala (2017)
In February 2017 our founder and executive director was awarded the Rising Star Award at Temple BLSA's first annual Black Excellence Awards Gala. Among the awardees was 181st State Representative-Elect Malcolm Kenyatta and community activist and Executive Director of The Center for Returning Citizens (TCRC) Jondhi Harrell
